Our College organized Alagappa University intercollegiate Chess Tournament 2024-25 at our college on September 3 & 4, 2024. Our Chairman Sevaratna T Raja started the occasion in the presence of Our secretary Dr. R Thillai Rajkumar. Dr S Nagarajan, Physical Director of Alagappa University ...inaugurated the tournament with special Invitee Dr. S. Kalidasan. 36 Colleges and 152 students participated. Alagappa University College students got Winner(Men), Alagappa Govt. Arts College got Winner(Women) & Runner(Men), Velumanoharan Arts College got Runner(Women). Dist. Sports Officer Dr. M. Dineshkumar distributed the Prize winners in the presence of Our Principal Dr. M. B. Palanikumar. Our Physical Director Mr. A. Rajasekaran delivered vote of thanks.
Our Department of Biochemistry and Biospark Club Jointly organized an International invited talk on "DNA fingerprint printing, principle, techniques and various applications". In this event, the special guest, Dr. Amaladas Anburaj, Senior Scientist of Singapore, gave the students DNA fingerprint change, human genome, PCR policy, test run of DNA isolation and gave students a useful speech with explanatory pictures. Raja, College Foundation Executive Mrs. Jayanthi Raja M.C, Secretary Dr. Thillai Raj Kumar, Heads of Department of the College, Professors of the College and students of Biochemistry Department and Chemistry Department of the College were all present. We are delighted to announce the success of our Commerce Day held on 23.08.2024, Organized by the Department of Commerce and Computer Application at Raja College of Arts and Science, the event kicked off with an inaugural speech by our Principal Mr. Palanikumar also addressed the gathering, ...emphasizing the importance of commerce. The first session, "Importance of Commerce," was led by our HOD Mrs Sangeetha, who provided valuable insights into the significance of commerce. Subsequent sessions, led by S. Naga Nandhini and S. Naga Devi, focused on "Motivational speech" to inspire the students. The day concluded with a lively performance session, actively engaging participants and wrapping up the event on a high note.

Loyola Aumose, who provided valuable insights into significance of data analysis in research.Dr. M. Maria Antony Raj then led sessions on "Data Analysis Using SPSS" and "Enhancing Research with SPSS," providing in-depth
knowledge. A lively Q&A session wrapped up the day, with participants
actively engaging.The workshop was meticulously organized under the guidance of Mrs. M.Mariya Evila, with support from Mr. N. Ramesh and Ms. J. John DevaAmna.
