Our NSS conducted 3 days camp(SWATCH BHARTH) for cleaning in Coastal area, Seeniyapa Dharga, Pamban and Mandapam.Our Chairman Sevaratna Dr T Raja inaugurated the Session in the Presence of Secretary Dr R Thillai Rajkumar and our college Principal. Our NSS students picked garbage waste and cleaned the area.NSS Programme Officer Prof.N. Senthilkumar organized the camp successfully.
Our Final Year Eligible 92 students were received laptop under "Ulakam ungal kayil "scheme started by Honourable Chief minister at Anna University, Ramnad Campus on today. The Entrepreneurship Development cell EDC, Raja College of arts and science college, Organized a one day workshop on the "Nimirdhu Nil "Idea Generation Awareness Programme on (23.01.2026).More than 200 students participated in the programme. The Resource person was Er. T. Ponvel murugan, District programme manager(EDII-TN), Ramanathapuram. Delivered the creativity innovation and Entrepreneurship among the students. The event brought together aspiring entrepreneurs students to brainstorm and develop innovative business idea. Our Principal Dr. M. B. Palanikumar inaugurated the occasion. Our college celebrated the “Samathuva Pongal Function” in a grand and joyful manner today. The function was inaugurated by our respected Trustee, Mrs. Jeyanthi Raja. Our Chairman, Sevaratna Dr. T. Raja, delivered the presidential address in the presence of our College Secretary, Dr. R. Thillai Rajkumar. The welcome address was given by our Principal, Dr. M. B. Palanikumar. Various competitions were conducted for students, and prizes were distributed to the winners. All the departments enthusiastically prepared Pongal and celebrated the festival with great joy and unity. The function concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. R. D. Nelson Daniel.
On behalf of Nehru Yuva Kendra 'VIJAY DIWAS'', speech and essay competitions were conducted at our College Auditorium. In the essay competition, Sandhiya, III Year, Department of Chemistry, won the First Prize. Madhuvarshini, I Year, Department of Computer Science, won second prize Nishalini, III Year, Department of Biochemistry, won the third Prize. The speech competition was held on the stage. In this competition, Harini, III Year, BBA, won the First Prize. Radhika, II Year, Department of Chemistry, won the Second Prize. Sandhiya I Year Department of Physical Education won the Third Prize. The prizes were distributed by Mr.P. R. Subramanian and Mr.Munis from the Nehru Yuva Kendra organization. The vote of thanks was delivered by Kavitha Assistant Professor Department of Tamil.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Raja College of Arts and Science organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "NAAC". Dr. R. Thillai Rajkumar, Secretary, welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. Thirumalaisamy, by presenting a bouquet. The welcome Address was delivered by Dr. M. B. Palanikumar, Principal, Dr. R. Thirumalaisamy, Former Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Chennai, delivered an informative and inspiring session on NAAC. Head of all departments and Faculty members from various departments actively participated in the programme. The session was interactive, and participants gained a better understanding of quality assurance and accreditation procedures. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. R. D.
